Boilermaker

We are currently recruiting for experienced Boilermakers / Fabricators for immediate starts across two locations in Brisbane's western suburbs, leading to permanent for the right candidates.

Locations: Redbank and Darra

What's on offer:

• $45-$50PH workshop rate, $50PH + site rate
• Afternoon shift +15% loading
• Mix of site and workshop based work
• Up to 7-day weeks available for those chasing hours
• Immediate starts

The role:

• Fabrication and welding of structures, machinery, and components for heavy industry
• MIG and Stick welding
• Stainless and Mild Steel Fabrication
• Workshop fabrication and assembly work
• Onsite installation work
• Reading and working from drawings
• Working across sugar mill, abattoir, mining, and industrial machinery sectors

What We're Looking For

• Trade Qualified Boilermakeror Highly Experience Fabricator
• Ability to strictly follow welding procedures and engineering specs
• Happy with a mix of site and workshop work

Key Responsibilities

• Fabrication and welding of structures, machinery, and parts/components
• MIG and Stick welding in both workshop and onsite environments
• Manufacture and install equipment for production machinery, fixed plant, and heavy transport
• Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and measurements
• Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Maintaining high safety and housekeeping standards
• Working independently and within team environments to meet deadlines
