Boilermaker/Welder

We are a small, family-owned and operated business in Clontarf, successfully operating for 25 years. Due to ongoing work and growth, we are looking for an experienced and reliable Boilermaker/Welder to join our team on a full-time basis.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who takes pride in their work and is confident with metal fabrication and structural steel. You will be involved in a variety of workshop fabrication projects, with the opportunity to work on interesting and varied jobs.

Key responsibilities

• Work on a variety of workshop fabrication projects
• Measure, cut, fit and fabricate accurately
• Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings
• Work with structural steel and metal fabrication
• Perform welding and fabrication work
• Maintain workshop practices and safety standards

About you

• Experience as a Boilermaker or Welder
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings
• Strong experience working with structural steel and metal fabrication
• Competent welding and fabrication skills
• Good understanding of workshop practices and safety
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a small team
• Confidence working with a range of steel and metalwork projects
• High attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
• Must currently live locally to Moreton Bay Region

Full-time hours, Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week, Overtime available
