Boilermaker/Welder

Hiring: Experienced Boilermaker (5+ Years Experience)

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a qualified Boilermaker.
• Technical Skills: Must be highly proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings/blueprints.
• Precision: High standard of fabrication, welding, and assembly work.

Main Responsibilities

Boilermakers

• Fabricating, assembling, and installing steel structures and components.
• Interpreting engineering drawings to ensure all work meets exact specifications.
• Operating various machinery and tools (cutting, grinding, welding) with high precision.
• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace throughout the project lifecycle.

Welders

• High-quality structural welding (FCAW / GMAW) on steel frames and structures.
• Ensure all welding complies with structural standards and specifications.

Requirements:

• Relevant Trade Qualification (e.g., Cert III in Fabrication/Engineering or equivalent experience).

• Proven experience in structural steel and frame fabrication.

• Ability to work accurately from drawings with minimal supervision.

• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety (WHS).

• Ability to pass a structural weld test.

• Hours: 54-60 hours per week (Stable and consistent hours).

Job Types: Casual, Contract

Pay: $45.00 – $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 54.0 – 60.0 per week
