What they need
Boilerman Grade 1 - Key Responsibilities
Boiler Operations & Maintenance:
- Operate, monitor, and control boiler systems to ensure an uninterrupted steam supply for production processes.
- Conduct daily boiler inspections, including checks on pressure, temperature, water level, fuel consumption, and safety devices.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on boilers, steam lines, and related equipment.
- Coordinate scheduled preventive maintenance activities and annual inspections with external contractors and relevant authorities.
Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure full compliance with DOSH (JKKP) requirements, boiler certification requirements, and statutory inspections.
- Maintain accurate boiler operation logs, inspection records, and maintenance documentation.
- Immediately report and rectify any unsafe conditions, abnormalities, or incidents related to boiler operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in boiler operations within the manufacturing industry.
- Must possess a valid Grade 1 Boilerman Certificate issued by DOSH.
