About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Boilerman to join our team at Teo Seng Capital Berhad in Yong Peng, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in maintaining and operating our boiler systems. As a Boilerman, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of boiler equipment, directly contributing to the smooth functioning of our facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring boiler systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
• Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of boiler equipment, pipes, and associated systems
• Recording boiler parameters, fuel consumption, water levels, and pressure readings in accordance with operational procedures
• Responding promptly to boiler alarms and malfunctions, troubleshooting issues and implementing corrective actions
• Performing routine cleaning and servicing tasks to prevent system deterioration
• Assisting with the repair and replacement of boiler components under supervision
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations relating to boiler operations
• Maintaining comprehensive logbooks and documentation of all maintenance activities and system performance
• Communicating with the engineering team regarding equipment status and maintenance requirements

What we're looking for

• Recognised boilerman qualification or certification relevant to boiler operation and maintenance

• Sound knowledge of boiler systems, safety protocols, and operational procedures

• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual duties in varying environmental conditions

• A proactive approach to health and safety, with a willingness to adhere to all safety protocols

• Willing to work in Yong Peng, Johor
