BOILERMAN-GRADE 2

About the role
CBL Marketing (M) Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a skilled and certified Boilerman (Grade 1 or Grade 2) to operate, maintain, and monitor our industrial steam boiler systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted boiler operations in compliance with DOSH regulations and company SOPs.

What you'll be doing

• Operate and monitor industrial steam boilers safely and efficiently in accordance with DOSH regulations and company SOPs

• Conduct daily start-up, shutdown, and routine checks on boilers and all ancillary equipment

• Monitor steam pressure, water levels, temperature, and fuel consumption — record all readings in the Boiler Log Book

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers and related equipment to ensure continuous and reliable operation

• Identify and troubleshoot faults or abnormalities; report and escalate issues to the supervisor promptly

• Prepare and treat boiler feed water; monitor and maintain chemical dosing levels

• Ensure the boiler house and surrounding areas are kept clean and safe at all times

• Coordinate and assist with DOSH periodic inspections and annual boiler servicing by authorised contractors

• Respond immediately to alarms, emergency shutdowns, and other boiler-related incidents

• Perform any other maintenance or utility duties as assigned by Management

What we're looking for

• Responsible, alert, and safety-conscious at all times

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Good troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude

• Physical stamina and ability to work in hot and industrial environments

• Team player with good communication skills

• Possess own transport; willing to travel if required

Education

• Minimum SPM or equivalent
• Certification Valid Boilerman Grade 1 or Grade 2 Certificate issued by DOSH / JKKP
• Experience Minimum 1–2 years in steam boiler operation (fresh cert holders may apply for Grade 2)
