BOM ENGINEER

BOM Management

 Create, upload, validate, and maintain customer BOMs in the ERP system.

 Ensure BOM accuracy, completeness, and revision control.

 Maintain multi-level BOM structures for machine assemblies and sub-assemblies.

 Verify BOMs against engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.

 Support new product introduction (NPI) activities by establishing product structures in

ERP.

2. Engineering Change Management

 Process and maintain Engineering Change Notice (ECN) and Engineering Change Order

(ECO) documentation.

 Coordinate customer ECO/ECN implementation with internal departments.

 Review engineering changes and assess impact on BOM, inventory, purchasing, and

production.

 Ensure timely execution of engineering changes in ERP and manufacturing

documentation.

3. Customer Coordination

 Serve as the primary coordinator for customer BOM-related inquiries.

 Liaise with customers from China and Taiwan regarding BOM updates, engineering

changes, and product structure requirements.
