Bone Chucks

Overview

Job Summary

The Bone Chuck is responsible for deboning the neckbone from the chuck paying close attention to details and bone cleanliness, skillful handling and precision to ensure chuck cuts meet quality standards and specifications.

• Use hook to pull chuck off conveyor
• Use knife to remove neck bone, chuck rack, bones, and back strap
• Place bones and back strap into bone chute
• Push finished product back onto conveyor
• Steel Knife

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Must be able to work in a humid, cold, wet or slippery surface at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (P.P.E)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience/knowledge of manufacturing environment
• Previous knife experience in manufacturing environment

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Be attentive to detail
• Ability to work safely, wear P.P.E, and follow instructions
• Ability to attend work consistently
• Display strong work ethic

Summary

America's Heartland Packing is set to open its doors in early 2025. The 775,000 sq. ft. greenfield project will include a harvest floor, carcass chillers, fabrication area, rendering, further processing area, storage coolers, freezers, and loading docks.
