Bookeeper

The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, recording daily financial transactions, reconciling bank accounts, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring all bookkeeping activities comply with company policies and accounting standards. This role plays a critical part in supporting the Finance Department by providing timely and accurate financial information.

Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Bookkeeping

• Record all financial transactions accurately and promptly.
• Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts.
• Ensure proper filing of accounting documents and supporting records.
• Record journal entries for daily business transactions.

Accounts Payable

• Verify supplier invoices and supporting documents.
• Prepare payments according to company procedures.
• Monitor vendor balances and payment schedules.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records.

Accounts Receivable

• Issue customer invoices.
• Monitor customer payments.
• Follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Reconcile customer accounts.

Bank & Cash Reconciliation

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Monitor company cash flow.
• Record petty cash transactions.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly bookkeeping reports.
• Assist in preparing financial statements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Provide financial data requested by management.

Compliance

• Ensure bookkeeping complies with company policies.
• Maintain accurate financial documentation for audits.
• Support tax documentation preparation.
• Ensure confidentiality of financial information.
