Booking Clerk

Location: Lahore Railway Station

Key Responsibilities

• Handle ticket bookings, reservations, cancellations, and amendments according to company policies.
• Operate the company's ticketing/booking system accurately and efficiently.
• Provide passengers with complete information regarding fares, routes, schedules, seat availability, and travel policies.
• Issue tickets and booking confirmations after receiving the required payment.
• Handle cash, card, and other approved payment methods and maintain accurate daily cash records.
• Verify passenger details and ensure correct information is entered into the booking system.
• Manage seat allocations and ensure that bookings are properly recorded.
• Maintain daily records of tickets sold, cancellations, refunds, and revenue.
• Reconcile cash and booking records at the end of each shift and submit reports to the relevant supervisor.
• Handle passenger queries and complaints professionally and escalate complex issues to the Station Manager.
• Perform other duties related to passenger booking and station operations as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum Intermediate.
• Previous experience in ticketing, reservations, customer service, transportation, railway, airline, bus, hotel, or travel industry will be preferred.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to operate booking/ticketing software.

Pay: Rs35,000.00 - Rs40,000.00 per month
