The Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for a Booking Clerk positions for the Corrections Division.

The Booking Clerk is a generalized data entry and data management position, working day to day with booking files, warrants, and court information. Good intrapersonal skills, data entry, and computer skills are a must.

HOURS OF DUTY:

This position is Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 4:00pm, with holidays and weekends off.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent certificate
• Must pass a thorough background investigation
• Must pass drug testing
• Sangamon County residency is required within six months of employment

ANNUAL SALARY:

$38,272/starting, $39,803/Dec. 1st* (*based on current contract), $58,705 top pay
