Booking Operator/Taxi Controller (NIGHT SHIFT)

Location: Hazel Grove
Hours: NIGHT Shift (Between 7:00pm – 7:00am) - Various shifts available.

Role Overview:
As a Call Centre Operator, you will be the first point of contact for customers, handling bookings, queries and ensuring smooth communication between customers and drivers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls in a professional and friendly manner
• Take and manage taxi bookings accurately using our dispatch system
• Provide customers with fare estimates and journey information
• Dispatch jobs to drivers efficiently
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints and feedback
• Monitor driver locations and ensure timely pickups
• Maintain clear and accurate records of bookings and communications

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good IT skills and ability to learn booking systems
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Previous call centre or taxi office experience is preferred but not essential

Working Hours:

• Full-time and part-time roles available
• Must be available to work at least 2 days out of Friday, Saturday and Sunday
