Bookkeeper / Accountant (Client Delivery Analyst)

We’re a fast-growing London-based accountancy and advisory firm and we’re looking for a sharp, experienced bookkeeper (Client Delivery Analyst) who wants more than just a job.

This role sits at the heart of our client delivery operation. You’ll own the books across a portfolio of UK clients, work directly with our leadership team, and be part of a firm that’s genuinely going places.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Managing day-to-day bookkeeping across a portfolio of UK SME clients
• Processing transactions, reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate records
• Using Xero, Hubdoc and Dext as your core tools - fluency in all three is essential
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns and supporting clients through compliance
• Assisting with year-end accounts preparation and liaising with senior accountants.
• Working directly with the leadership team to continually improve delivery standards

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Proven bookkeeping experience - within a UK accountancy practice
• Strong working knowledge of Xero, Hubdoc and Dext - non-negotiable
• Solid understanding of UK VAT and tax return processes
• Experience with year-end accounts preparation is a distinct advantage
• Meticulous attention to detail - accuracy matters here
• Someone who is self-driven, takes ownership and doesn’t need to be chased
• Excellent written English and confident communication with clients and colleagues
