Bookkeeper

12 months Maternity Leave Contract

Flexibility in hours – 32 to 38 hours per week

We are Australia’s leader in high performance heat transfer solutions, specialising in developing innovative and flexible equipment and systems for the food processing industry.

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to record and manage all financial transactions, including preparation of quotes to invoices, debtors – calls and collections, creditors – reconciliation and follow up, payroll processing and general ledger entries.

You will interact with management to provide relevant reports and also with the external accountant as needed.

This position also manages quarterly simple BAS and payables on 4 sub companies and is responsible for meeting compliance deadlines for SRO and BAS.

The successful candidate will have:

·        the ability to interact with clients and communicate in a professional manner.

·        advanced XERO skills to trial balance.

·        advanced Excel skills.

·        5 + years’ experience as a bookkeeper.

·        5 + years of management of payroll processes for 15 plus staff.

·        Experience in manufacturing or engineering environment - preferred.

·        Exceptional attention to detail skills.

·        A can-do attitude by being proactive and adaptable.

·        Advanced communication skills both written and verbal with a focus on collaboration.
