Core Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable (AR) & Tenant Billing

• Generate and issue monthly rent invoices, utility bill-backs, and common area maintenance (CAM) charges to office tenants.
• Post daily rental payments, security deposits, and bank transfers to tenant ledgers.
• Monitor tenant aging reports and handle professional collections for past-due rental balances.
• Track lease terms and rent escalations to ensure accurate billing adjustments.

Accounts Payable (AP) & Vendor Payments

• Process and verify invoices from property vendors, maintenance contractors, and utility companies.
• Ensure proper cost-coding of expenses to the correct commercial properties or building projects.
• Prepare weekly payment runs via corporate checks, wire transfers, or online banking platforms.
• Reconcile property manager expense receipts and petty cash reports.

Reconciliation & Leasing Support

• Reconcile bank accounts daily to match cash receipts with lease logs.
• Assist during month-end closing by preparing journal entries and tracking tenant security deposit accounts.
• Maintain digital audit-ready files for all lease contracts, vendor agreements, and tax documents.
