Duties

• Maintain and update accurate financial records using accounting software and spreadsheets
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions promptly and accurately
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and ledger accounts regularly
• Assist with financial model development to support budgeting and forecasting efforts
• Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Ensure adherence to financial regulatory requirements and tax accounting standards
• Collaborate with management on project management tasks related to financial reporting and analysis
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams regarding financial information and inquiries

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, and industry-specific financial regulations
• Experience with financial software systems used for bookkeeping and accounting tasks
• Knowledge of tax accounting practices and financial regulatory compliance standards
• Excellent analysis skills to interpret complex financial data accurately
• Ability to develop detailed financial models for various business scenarios including mergers & acquisitions
• Experience in auditing processes and maintaining rigorous financial compliance standards
• Effective client communication skills to explain financial information clearly and professionally
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay: $55.75 - $59.01 per hour
