Full – Time Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to manage financial recordkeeping for a small corporation and restaurant operation, accounting degree preferred.

Requirements

• Proven bookkeeping experience, preferably in a small business and/or restaurant environment
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience processing payroll and managing payroll-related records
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping functions
• Record and categorize daily financial transactions
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and General Ledger (GL) accounts
• Perform and process weekly payroll
• Prepare and process journal entries as needed
• Generate financial statements when required
• Maintain organized financial documentation and records
• Work closely with management to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Other duties as needed
