Location: We are recruiting a bookkeeper to work in our Utica, NY office.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Bookkeeping for our small business clients.
• Accounting CS, QuickBooks and CCH Axcess knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work with Excel and Word proficiently.
• Payroll, sales tax and individual tax preparation as needed.
• Deliver quality and courteous service to clients.
• Delivering quality internal service to Partners and staff; provide general administrative duties and work on projects as needed.
• The position is full-time and must be able to work additional hours during tax season.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Administrative Support/Business Management, Accounting or similar is a plus.
• Experience with an accounting firm or similar professional environment preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a busy environment.
• Advanced skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Valid driver’s license required for same day travel at local clients’ offices using a personal vehicle.

Salary $45,000 to $50,000 based on experience.
