Bookkeeper

About The Job We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Bookkeeper to support the smooth financial running for a range of clients. This is a varied, hands-on role that would suit someone who enjoys working independently and taking ownership of day-to-day finance operations.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting sales billing processes, and ensuring effective credit control across the business. The role also offers involvement in a range of ad hoc finance-related projects.

Key Responsibilities

Full responsibility of bookkeeping using Xero

Managing and maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations

Raising and processing client invoices in a timely and accurate manner

Managing credit control, including monitoring aged debt and following up on outstanding payments

Supporting month-end financial processes and reporting as required

Assisting with ad hoc financial and administrative projects

Working with internal systems and contributing to continuous improvement of finance processes

Requirements Previous experience in bookkeeping or finance management, ideally within a professional services or accountancy environment

Strong working knowledge of Xero is essential

Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Ability to manage workload independently and prioritise effectively

Confident communicator with a proactive and professional approach
