Bookkeeper

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis (10–12 hours per week). Reporting to the Accountant & Practice Managers, you will be responsible for managing the practice's day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing and reconciliations.

Key responsibilities

• Customer invoicing, receipting and account management.
• Follow-up of outstanding accounts and debt collection.
• Processing supplier invoices and payments.
• Bank account reconciliations.
• Fortnightly payroll processing, superannuation and statutory payments.
• Preparation and lodgment of quarterly BAS.

About you

• Proven bookkeeping experience.
• Minimum 2 years' experience using Reckon Accounts Hosted.
• At least 5 years' experience with payroll and BAS preparation.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
