Bookkeeper

KIS Consult is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work with clients from a variety of industries and business sizes, providing meaningful exposure to diverse accounting environments.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Create and process Bills and Invoices
• Perform Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations
• Prepare Journal Entries
• Maintain and review the General Ledger
• Analyze accounting reports and financial data
• Support month-end closing activities
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting procedures
• Collaborate with clients and internal team members to provide exceptional service

Qualifications Required

• Fluent Portuguese/Spanish and English (spoken and written)
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping fundamentals
• Experience with:
• Invoices & Bills
• Bank Reconciliations
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Journal Entries
• General Ledger
• Financial Report Analysis
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple clients

Preferred

• Third language (Portuguese or Spanish) proficiency
• Immediate availability
• Experience working with multiple companies or public accounting firms
• Knowledge of QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software

Work Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Work model:
• 1 day per week at an exclusive client office in Winter Park
• 4 days per week at the KIS Consult office on Kirkman Road

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting at $22.00/hour (depending on qualifications and experience)
