Bookkeeper

The company Based in the South Eastern suburbs, our client is a well established, strong performing organisation. With a first class product and service, they provide goods and services to an enviable client base consisting of some well known high profile brands. 

The role An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join the organisation as a Bookkeeper.  The purpose of this role is to undertake all of the bookkeeping functions across the company.  You will work in a tight-knit team and report directly into the founder of the business. 

Key responsibilities will include will not be limited to:

• Banking and cash flow requirements
• Accounts payable
• Accounts receivable
• Payroll
• Reconciliations
• Assistance with tax compliance e.g. BAS, IAS, PAYG, payroll tax etc
• Regularly liaise with the external accountants
• Ad-hoc project and administrative work

The successful candidate In order to secure this position, you will be a hands-on bookkeeper with previous experience in a similar role.  You will be adaptable and place a strong emphasis on building strong working relationships across the business.  The following will be favourably looked upon:

• Relevant bookkeeping and/or tertiary qualifications
• Relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within a SME environment
• Strong Excel and Xero skills
• Deadline-driven
• Outstanding communication skills
