Position Overview:

Are you a detail-oriented and experienced accountant or bookkeeper looking for a full-time opportunity in Cincinnati, OH. Our company is seeking a skilled individual to join our team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes..

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including processing invoices, payments, and collections.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries as needed.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records: Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, including analyzing variances and preparing reports for management.
• Assist with tax preparation
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements
• Provide support to the finance team and other departments as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience preferred)
• Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles, with knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of relevant accounting principles and regulations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Location: West Chester, OH

Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience
