We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. Duties

• Record and reconcile transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, and other financial systems
• Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections
• Prepare journal entries, perform bank reconciliations, and maintain the general ledger in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to verify accuracy of financial data
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with payroll regulations and standards
• Assist in financial report writing, budgeting, and month-end closing activities
• Maintain detailed records of all financial transactions, including debits & credits, account reconciliation, and account analysis

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online), Xero, Sage, and other financial management tools
• Experience with corporate accounting practices; familiarity with non-profit accounting is a plus
• Strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and general ledger accounting
• Ability to work with spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting purposes
• Knowledge of GAAP guidelines and technical accounting concepts
• Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills
• Effective communication skills for preparing financial reports and collaborating across teams

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
