Bookkeeper

This is a great opportunity for a bookkeeper looking for part-time work with a flexible schedule. Most work can be arranged around your availability, with some specific deadlines and time requirements. You will work directly with several bookkeeping clients and build an ongoing relationship with them. The position starts at a few hours per week, with the opportunity to increase as you become comfortable working with our clients and our team.

This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent math and organizational skills. QuickBooks online experience a must, Xero experience a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and maintain financial records for business activities.
• Record and categorize transactions in QuickBooks and Xero.
• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliation
• Create profit & loss statements, balance sheets and other reports as required.
• Prepare payroll reports and sales/use tax returns.
• Maintain general ledger and accounts receivable/payable documentation.
• Communicate with clients regarding bookkeeping questions and missing information
• Work independently while meeting monthly deadlines

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
