Bookkeeper

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our very busy veterinary team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting and bookkeeping, Including accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, and preparation of financial statements and reports using quickbooks and excel spreadsheets. Need to have good time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledger entries, including journal entries, debits & credits, and account reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations regularly to ensure data integrity.
• Manage payroll processing, ensuring timely and precise salary disbursements in compliance with applicable laws.
• Utilize financial software such as QuickBooks.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling financial information.
• Will be responsible for bank, post office and supply pick ups for the clinic.
• Experience with payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable management, and general ledger accounting.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28.0 per week
