We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Bookkeeper

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Support to the Accountant and Management
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and prepare schedules required for financial reporting.
• Prepare transaction summaries and supporting schedules as required.
• Assist the Accountant with reconciliations audits and financial reviews.
• Provide information and supporting documents to help resolve discrepancies.
• Perform other bookkeeping duties assigned by the Accountant or Management.

Qualifications & Experience

• HND or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1 - 3 years of relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Experience in a trading or inventory-based business is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or bookkeeping software.
• Experience handling high-volume daily transactions is an advantage.
