Bookkeeper

Sage Search Partners is looking for a Bookkeeper and Payroll/HR Assistant for a family-owned company in North DFW. You’d keep the books, payroll, and employee records accurate across multiple entities, and the portfolio is growing.

We’re looking for at least 4 to 5 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience, including journal entries, accounts payable, reconciliations, and sales tax, plus some payroll processing. Multi-entity experience is a big plus. Our client wants someone who takes charge, notices the details, and works hard while having fun on a close-knit team. Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll, keep employee pay data current, and answer employees’ payroll questions
• Record daily bank activity by journal entry across several operating entities
• Help the Controller with month-end close, accruals, and financial reporting
• Reconcile company credit cards and pay them on time
• Run weekly accounts payable with the AP Clerk, including vendor setup and W-9s
• Prepare and file quarterly sales tax
• Support HR administration: onboarding, personnel files, PTO tracking, open enrollment, and HSA contributions
• Handle incoming checks and deposits

Client Requirements

• 4 to 5 years or more of bookkeeping experience
• Payroll processing experience
• Multi-entity accounting experience preferred
• Able to work onsite in North DFW five days a week
