BOOKKEEPER

Double M Recycling | Swanton, Maryland

Double M Recycling is a growing, family-owned business that buys and processes scrap metals for residential and industrial customers. We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team and support our accounting and financial operations.

Responsibilities

· Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, payments, and supplier inquiries.

· Assist with payroll processing

· Maintain accurate inventory and sales records by product category.

· Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements and complete month-end closing activities.

· Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for ownership.

· Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

· At least three years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.

· Expert-level QuickBooks skills required.

· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.

· Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Associate degree in accounting a plus..
