A growing educational group is currently looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team. This is an opportunity to join an expanding organisation where your work will directly support efficient financial operations and sustainable growth.

You will be based at the new school site, reporting to the School Principal and the central Accountant. Your mission is to take ownership of the school's day-to-day finances, from collecting fees to managing payments, ensuring everything runs smoothly as the campus scales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of school fee collections, including invoicing, receipting, debtor management, and handling parent queries.
• Perform high-volume bank reconciliations and manage all accounts payable and general fund payments.
• Assist with flash reporting, cash flow monitoring, and assist with budget tracking.
• Provide reliable financial and administrative support to the School Principal to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain strict compliance with financial policies, audit requirements, and data confidentiality standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• ICB certification or National Diploma in Financial Accounting with 5+ years of solid bookkeeping experience.
• Proven ability to handle high-volume bank reconciliations, creditors, and debtors using advanced MS Excel and accounting systems.
• Must have your own reliable transport and be comfortable working fully on-site.

Salary:

• R17,000 - R25,000 CTC per month, depending on skills and experience
