Job Summary

Railway Products Group, Inc. (RPG) has been manufacturing quality parts for the railroad and transit industry for over 35 years. We are a design-engineer-build company. We fabricate parts and assemblies in our 50,000 square foot manufacturing facility and corporate office in Baltimore, Maryland.

This role maintain and organize a company’s financial data, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and up‑to‑date records. They support accountants and business owners by preparing essential financial documents and monitoring cash flow. Indeed

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions using spreadsheets or accounting software. Indeed
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Manage accounts payable: verify, process, and pay vendor invoices.
• Manage accounts receivable: generate invoices, track payments, follow up on overdue accounts.
• Prepare basic financial statements such as P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Organize receipts, invoices, and financial documents for audit readiness. Indeed
• Assist with payroll processing including wages, deductions, and tax withholdings.
• Support tax preparation by maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance.
• Review and correct automated transaction categorizations in modern AI-assisted bookkeeping tools.
• Assisting the finance department with other duties .

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
