Bookkeeper

Job Summary

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, recording daily financial transactions, monitoring income and expenses, and supporting the preparation of financial reports. The ideal candidate will ensure proper financial documentation, assist with account reconciliation, monitor cash flow, and help maintain the company's financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate daily financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and maintain invoices, receipts, and payment records.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts.
• Track company income, expenses, and cash flow.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly and periodic financial reports.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up where necessary.
• Support budgeting and financial planning processes.
• Ensure financial records comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Assist the Business Manager and management team with financial information and reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, HND, or OND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good understanding of financial records and basic accounting principles.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, or luxury goods is an advantage.

Pay: ₦200,000.00 per month
