Bookkeeper

Overview

*Prior bookkeeping experience is a must* As a Bookkeeper, you will enter invoices, labor and sales data in our bookkeeping software called Sage. You’ll manage day-to-day bookkeeping, maintain the general ledger, and help ensure transactions are recorded in line with applicable accounting standards. Your impact: Accurate records and timely reports help leaders understand financial activity and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll; track transactions using double-entry bookkeeping and accurate debits and credits.
• Complete bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation; investigate and resolve discrepancies.

Requirements

• Bookkeeping experience and accounting and finance experience, with knowledge of accounting, financial concepts, and general ledger accounting.
• Familiarity with accounting software, financial software, and accounting systems; experience with one or more listed platforms is useful.
• Understanding of journal entries, payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Ability to prepare clear financial reports and use spreadsheets; accurate 10-key typing is helpful.

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
