We are looking for a Bookkeeper who will help maintain accurate accounting records, support tax compliance, and ensure the reliability of financial data.

💼 WHAT YOU'LL DO

As our Bookkeeper, you will:

• Review accounting entries in disbursement vouchers, excluding loan and premium-related entries.
• Generate and verify accounting records from the PIIS to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare journal vouchers and adjusting entries for accruals.
• Generate data and reports for tax compliance, including expanded withholding tax, compensation tax, income tax, and final taxes.
• Prepare year-end reports and required documents for external auditors, the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), and the Insurance Commission (IC).
• Facilitate the filing of books of accounts with the BIR.
• Perform other related duties in accordance with the approved PSMBFI Operations Manual and as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

To qualify for this role, you should have:

• A bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• The ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
