Bookkeeper - Part Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring the integrity of our accounting processes.

Duties

• Manage and record all financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
• Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers
• Reconcile bank statements regularly to ensure consistency between records and actual balances
• Maintain organized financial files and documentation for audit readiness
• Assist with payroll processing and expense tracking as needed
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities with precise data entry and reporting

Experience

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role, preferably in small to medium-sized organizations
• Proficiency with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or comparable platforms
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management
• Excellent attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry and record keeping
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities effectively
