Bookkeeper - Part Time

We are looking for a part time book keeper to join our small team. Hours are flexible and can be on site and partially hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using Sage Line 50 to ensure accurate financial records.
• Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice entry, vendor payments, and expense categorization.
• Reconcile bank statements regularly to verify account balances and identify discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with accounts receivable activities by invoicing clients and tracking payments received.
• Maintain organized records of financial documents, receipts, and reports for audit readiness.
• Support month-end closing procedures by preparing reports and verifying ledger entries.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with Sage Line 50 is essential.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices related to accounts payable.
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
• Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting role is required
• Knowledge of financial reconciliation processes and record keeping standards is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills
• Experience of payroll particularly Sage Payroll is advantageous.

Pay: From £18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 – 12.0 per week
