Safacap, a growing accounting firm based in Stellenbosch, is looking for a reliable, organised and experienced Bookkeeper / Payroll Administrator to join our team.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing a portfolio of monthly clients and taking ownership of recurring accounting and payroll responsibilities.

Key responsibilities will include: Monthly bookkeeping and bank reconciliations Processing transactions on Sage Online Accounting VAT calculations and submissions Payroll processing EMP201, EMP501, IRP5 and related payroll submissions SARS and eFiling administration Client communication and follow-up on outstanding information Maintaining accurate client files and meeting monthly deadlines

We are looking for someone who is: Accurate and detail-oriented Highly organised Able to work independently Comfortable dealing directly with clients Deadline-driven Proactive and willing to take ownership Experienced in bookkeeping and payroll Proficient in Sage Online Accounting

Previous accounting practice experience will be a strong advantage.

Location: Stellenbosch

Position: Full-time

Salary: R13 000 – R18 000 per month, depending on experience

Starting date: 1 November 2026

Pay: R13 000,00 - R18 000,00 per month

Work Location: In person
