Bookkeeper / Program Accountant - Client Services

Job Summary

The Bookkeeper / Program Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing daily accounting transactions, ensuring tax and statutory compliance, and supporting client financial operations. This is a client-facing role that serves as a trusted accounting partner to assigned Answerkey clients by delivering timely financial reporting, maintaining regulatory compliance, and building professional client relationships through responsive and solution-oriented support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, post journal entries, and reconcile general ledgers.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, account schedules, and monitor budget variances.
• Prepare and file statutory tax returns accurately and on time (BIR, SEC, and LGU compliance).
• Serve as the primary accounting contact for assigned clients, addressing concerns professionally.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in corporate bookkeeping, general accounting, and tax compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine Taxation, Tax Planning, and Tax Preparation.
• Direct experience dealing with BIR, SEC, and LGU requirements. Excellent communication skills.
• Bookkeeper License (Preferred)
