Bookkeeper/Controller

Position Overview

Patriot Advocates is a rapidly growing company with operations across multiple states. We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Controller to support our accounting and financial operations as we continue to expand.

This position offers flexibility in scheduling and employment structure based on the candidate's experience and the company's needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports and support financial oversight.
• Assist with accounting processes associated with multi-state operations.
• Support additional financial and administrative needs as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial management.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
• Experience with multi-state operations is a plus.

Position Details

• Full-time or part-time opportunities available.
• Employee or independent contractor arrangements may be considered, subject to applicable requirements.
• In-person or hybrid arrangements available.
• Office located at New Orleans Lakefront Airport.
• Compensation based on experience and scope of responsibilities.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
