About the role
An established engineering, manufacturing and service business is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant to take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping and administration.
Key responsibilities
- Day-to-day bookkeeping
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Bank reconciliations
- Payroll processing
- General office administration
- Managing client and supplier portals
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Supporting management with accounts and administration
- Manage Technicians Service diaries and customers booking
- Prepare financials for BAS lodgement
About you
- Previous bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Strong office administration skills
- Experience running payroll
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good computer and accounting software skills
- Confidence working with online client portals
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of the role
- A professional and reliable approach
- Experience in an engineering, manufacturing, trades or service business would be advantageous
