Bookmobile Driver

Duties:

• Safely drive bookmobile on assigned routes, to community events and parades, and maintenance trips
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles
• Load and unload bags and crates of books from the vehicle using appropriate equipment or manual labor
  -Serve patrons in a courteous, professional manner
• Restock materials on shelves and help maintain bookmobile collection

-Assist patrons in locating materials

-Perform routine maintenance to ensure that the bookmobile is road worthy and clean

-A few Saturday shifts per year

Skills:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Attention to detail and accuracy in recording delivery information
• Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of products
