Bookshop Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly individual to manage the day-to-day operations of our school bookshop. The ideal candidate should possess a pleasant disposition and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the bookshop

Manage sales and provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and school staff

Order and maintain inventory of books and stationery supplies

Coordinate and manage annual year-end sales and stock ordering and sales

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bookshop

Requirements:
Able to work independently and take initiative

Responsible and reliable with good communication and interpersonal skills

Prior retail of similar trade experience is an advantage

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 3:30PM

The bookshop will be closed during school holidays, except during the year-end break (Nov & Dec) for annual ordering and sales therefore no leave allowed during the peak period.
