About the role
A boom truck driver safely operates a commercial vehicle equipped with a hydraulic crane to lift, transport, and position heavy materials.
Key responsibilities
- Safely navigate trucks to and from construction sites or delivery zones
- Use hydraulic controls to lift, load, and unload heavy equipment or supplies
- Perform safety checks on outriggers, cables, and winches before operating
- Fasten cargo correctly and ensure weights stay within safe lifting limits
About you
- Valid Professional Driver's License with appropriate truck restrictions (such as Restriction Code 8 or equivalent LTO DL codes)
- TESDA National Certificate (NC II) for Crane Operation, Rigger NC II, or Heavy Equipment Operation
- Typically 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience driving and operating truck-mounted cranes
