Boomi Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Boomi Developer to design, develop, implement, and support enterprise integration solutions using Dell Boomi AtomSphere. The role will work on integrations involving ERP, eCommerce, SaaS, and cloud platforms, with a focus on reliable data exchange, API integration, automation, monitoring, and error handling.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Dell Boomi AtomSphere, enterprise middleware, REST and GraphQL APIs, data transformation, CI/CD, and production integration support. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Shopify, commercetools, and Azure is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integration processes using Dell Boomi AtomSphere.
• Build and support integrations for order, inventory, payment, customer, and other business data flows.
• Develop connectors, mappings, transformations, business rules, and error-handling processes.
• Integrate Microsoft Dynamics 365 with eCommerce and SaaS platforms, including Shopify and commercetools.
• Develop integrations using REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and messaging technologies.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, retry, and recovery mechanisms for integration processes.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD workflows for integration packages using Azure DevOps or GitLab.
• Support automated testing, deployment, and version control processes.
• Develop automation scripts and data transformation utilities using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and perform root-cause analysis for production incidents.
• Collaborate with Integration Leads, developers, business stakeholders, and other technical teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in technical design, estimation, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Monitor integration performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, integration runbooks, API documentation, and support procedures.
• Contribute to integration standards, development practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise integration, middleware development, or a related technical role.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing Dell Boomi AtomSphere processes.
• Experience integrating ERP systems with eCommerce, SaaS, or other enterprise applications.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL, webhooks, and API integration patterns.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Azure Service Bus, Kafka, or Amazon SQS.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and version control.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Strong understanding of data mapping, data transformation, integration patterns, and error handling.
• Experience troubleshooting production integration issues and performing root-cause analysis.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to work mid-to-late shift hours to support international teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating Shopify and/or commercetools with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Experience with Azure Integration Services, including:
• Azure Logic Apps
• Azure Functions
• Azure Event Grid
• Azure Service Bus
• Knowledge of order-to-cash, order management, or inventory management processes.
• Experience developing integration monitoring, alerting, retry, and recovery frameworks.
• Boomi Professional Developer or Architect certification.
• Experience with other enterprise integration platforms such as MuleSoft or SnapLogic.
• Experience writing technical documentation, integration runbooks, or API documentation.
