Boomi Integration Architect

Note-This job role requires to work in US Shift timings.

We are seeking an experienced Boomi Integration Architect with 8+ years of experience to design, govern, and lead enterprise scale integrations using the Dell Boomi Atmosphere platform. The role requires strong architectural ownership, and the ability to define integration standards across complex ERP landscapes such as Netsuite.

Role & responsibilities

Boomi Integration Development

• Define end to end integration architecture using Dell Boomi
• Design scalable, secure, and reusable integration frameworks
• Architect solutions using:
  o Atoms, Molecules, Atom Clouds
  o API Management
  o Event driven and batch integrations
• Design, build, and maintain Boomi processes, connectors, and integration flows
• Handle performance tuning, scalability planning, and resilience design
• Extensive experience in building API integrations.
• Develop real time and batch integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and file based integrations
• Implement data mappings, transformations, validations, and enrichment logic
• Configure error handling, retries, logging, alerts, and monitoring frameworks
• Optimize Boomi processes for performance, scalability, and reusability
• This role requires a strategic thinker who can not only develop integrations but also help define the overall integration architecture and mentor a team of developers.

Technical & Delivery Responsibilities

• Participate in technical design discussions and review integration architecture
• Prepare unit test evidence, deployment packages, and runbooks
• Support SIT/UAT, data reconciliation, and production cutover activities
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and data handling standards
• Manage and mentor a team of Boomi developers, providing technical guidance and best practices.

Must Have

• 5+ years hands on experience with Boomi iPaaS
• Strong expertise in:
  o Integration patterns and middleware design
  o REST/SOAP APIs
  o XML, JSON, EDI, Flat Files
• Experience integrating ERP systems (NetSuite)
• Strong experience integrating Salesforce using:
• Strong knowledge of API security, OAuth, certificates, and data protection
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS)
• Solid understanding of integration patterns (sync, async, pub/sub, batch)
• Strong experience with XML, JSON, XSLT, and data transformation
• Experience with error handling, logging, and monitoring in Boomi
• Ability to work in offshore delivery model with onshore coordination
• Technical Leadership: Ability to guide a team and define architectural standards.
• Architectural Thinking: Can design scalable and robust integration solutions.
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve integration issues.
• Collaboration: Works effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience in manufacturing or supply chain domains

• Boomi certifications (Associate / Professional / Architect)
• Experience with data reconciliation and performance testing

Experience

7-8 years overall IT experience, with 6+ years in Boomi iPaaS and hands on NetSuite integrations
