BOQ : Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary

Design Domain Consultants is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / BOQ Engineer with 4–5 years of relevant experience in quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, estimation, and cost control, preferably in interior fit-out and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed BOQ (Bill of Quantities) based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Carry out accurate quantity take-offs from architectural, interior, and MEP drawings.
• Calculate quantities for flooring, ceiling, partitions, furniture, painting, civil, electrical, and other interior works.
• Review drawings and specifications to understand project scope and quantities.
• Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Project, and Site Teams for quantity verification.
• Prepare quantity comparison, reconciliation, and variation reports.
• Check vendor and subcontractor quotations against BOQ quantities and scope.
• Identify additional works, quantity variations, and deviations during project execution.
• Assist in project estimation, rate analysis, and cost calculations.
• Maintain BOQ revisions and quantity records throughout the project.
• Support project teams in material planning and cost control.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, BOQ, Estimation, or Quantity Take-off.
• Experience in Interior Fit-out / Commercial Interior Projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel for BOQ preparation and quantity calculations.
• Ability to read and understand AutoCAD / architectural / interior working drawings.
• Good understanding of interior construction materials and finishing works.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good coordination and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in commercial office interior projects.
• Knowledge of Civil, Interior, Furniture, Ceiling, Flooring, and MEP quantities.
• Knowledge of estimation and rate analysis.
• Experience handling BOQ revisions, variations, and quantity reconciliation.
• Good knowledge of Excel formulas and reporting.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
