JOB DESCRIPTION
**Position:**Interior Landscape Consultant

Plant & Planter Placement (Horticulturist / Landscape Architect)

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
FerroHub Mall is looking for a part-time consultant to enhance the look and feel of the mall through thoughtful placement of plants and pots across common areas, entrances and walkways. The consultant will combine design sense with plant knowledge so that the greenery looks good, survives indoor conditions and is easy to maintain.
SCOPE OF WORK
Site study of all common areas: light, air-conditioning, footfall and space available.
Plant and planter selection suited to the mall environment (indoor/semi-outdoor).
Placement and layout plan

zone-wise, with pot styles, sizes and plant types.
Supervision of installation by the vendor / in-house team.
Handover of a simple care and replacement guide for the housekeeping team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Visit the mall and prepare a zone-wise greenery concept aligned with the mall's look and brand.
Recommend plant species by light and maintenance needs, and flag those unsafe for public spaces.
Prepare placement drawings or mood boards with quantities and an indicative budget.
Coordinate with nurseries and pot suppliers on quality, rates and delivery.

DELIVERABLES
Site assessment note and concept plan for each zone.
Final layout drawings / mood boards with plant and pot schedule (BOQ).
Supervised installation and sign-off after completion.
Maintenance guide covering watering, light, pruning and replacement schedule.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are open to either of two profiles:
An architect, interior designer or landscape designer with working knowledge of plants; or
A botanist, horticulturist or agriculture graduate with a strong eye for space and design.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
B.Arch / B.Des / Landscape Architecture, or B.Sc / M.Sc in Botany, Horticulture or Agriculture.
2+ years of experience in interior landscaping, garden design, or commercial / retail greenery projects.
A portfolio of past work (photographs or drawings) is required.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Strong knowledge of indoor and low-light plants, planters and soil / drainage basics.
Spatial planning and visual design sense; ability to produce simple layouts (sketch, AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar).
