Bottle Shop Attendant

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Bottleshop Attendant to join the team at the Morphett Arms Hotel Thirsty Camel.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, can work well as part of a team and is looking for consistent casual hours.

About the role

You’ll be responsible for providing great customer service while assisting with the day-to-day operation of our bottleshop, including:

• Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Processing sales and handling cash/EFTPOS accurately
• Restocking shelves and fridges
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and well-presented bottleshop
• Checking stock and assisting with deliveries
• Following responsible service of alcohol (RSA) requirements
• Ensuring age verification and liquor licensing requirements are followed
• Working as part of the wider Morphett Arms team

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a positive and approachable attitude
• Enjoys providing great customer service
• Is reliable, punctual and well presented
• Can work independently as well as part of a team
• Is comfortable working in a busy environment
• Has good attention to detail
• Holds a current RSA or is willing to obtain one
• Is available to work a range of shifts, including days, nights, weekends and public holidays

Previous bottleshop or retail experience is preferred, but not essential. Training will be provided to the right person.

Pay: $26.44 – $46.16 per hour
