BOTTOM DUMP DRIVERS WANTED *WILL TRAIN*

Overview

We are seeking motivated and dependable Bottom Dump Drivers who are eager to learn and grow within a dynamic transportation environment. This role offers comprehensive training to develop your skills in operating bottom dump trucks, a vital component in mining, and material hauling operations for local winery. Duties

• Operate bottom dump trucks safely and efficiently, following all transportation safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials, ensuring accurate delivery to designated sites.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch using two-way radios for driver updates and instructions.
• Navigate city streets, construction sites, and rural areas confidently while adhering to all state transportation regulations.
• Support maintenance activities by reporting mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle reliability.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with deliveries and offering passenger assistance when needed.

Requirements

• A clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL)
• Knowledge of air brake systems, defensive driving techniques, and traffic laws relevant to commercial vehicles.
• Ability to operate vehicles in adverse weather conditions safely and responsibly.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
• Familiarity with city street navigation, vehicle inspections, and transportation safety regulations is a plus.
• Willingness to learn about DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, passenger safety protocols, and vehicle operation standards.
