Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks and sprinter vans, adhering to all traffic laws and DOT regulations to ensure secure deliveries.
• Load, unload, and manually handle goods using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.
• Plan efficient routes using mobile devices or GPS tools to optimize delivery schedules and minimize delays.
• Provide exceptional customer service by delivering packages professionally and addressing customer inquiries courteously.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before and after each shift.
• Follow safe lifting practices during manual handling of heavy or bulky items to prevent injuries.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery documentation, and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route progress or issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or courier services with a focus on box trucks or sprinter vans.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not required depending on vehicle type.
• Knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, weight handling in the workplace, and safe lifting practices.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently; experience with manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently using mobile devices or navigation tools.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting, manual handling, and moving items safely throughout the shift.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients and team members.

Pay: $4,500.00 - $5,500.00 per week
